The boys now both have blogs...spencerlanium.com and sam i am - and Amazon wish lists. Everything is about ".com" to Spencer. He put a laptop on his wishlist!
Sam has discovered a love of music - standing in Borders for over an hour scanning various CD's and listening to R.E.M. and the music of Sufjan Stevens, Illinoise! He also discovered the music of Kd Lang - there's a fun kid story there we'll have to share sometime! Because of Sam, I may just finally get to listen to Coldplay!

i just recently discovered sufjan...it's awesome...oh God where are you now, from crowders album is actually on sufjan's other album, i'm not sure which wrote it, but i think sufjan.
thanks for the tip...sam is getting a gift certificate from itunes - to load up his shuffle - any tips on how to guide him to some great songs by the artists he is discovering!
i'm learning much about music and football! it's really fun!

I can't say that I'm a music freak yet, but someone in our church is starting up her blog on her non mainstream Christian artist favorites that could be a help.
