Fun at the Pumpkin Patch with Spencer's 1st Grade class...hay rack ride, animals, pumpkins, and the "screaming silo"! Then it was hiking...climbing...discovering... through the woods with Sam's 2nd grade class. ...sitting on a 300,000,000 year old sand rock - does it get any better? Well, only when our guide allowed the kids to run through a drainage pipe -a tunnel - to get to the other side of the road, way cool! While we discovered many ways the weather effects the forest, today I learned how to know which way is North from the trees (not that knowing which way is North would help me).
