taking it on the road...

"Engaging"..."fun"..."I really enjoyed it"..."it was packed"...moved to tears (the direct quote was actually, "they were crying") ...These were some of the things we heard today after Gene had the opportunity to share some of the more recent songs and stories God has given him.

We have been in a different church many of the weekends over the past several months. The boys are really good about sitting and listening to their dad speak, often telling stories about them. Last weeked Gene sang a couple songs before speaking and the boys enjoyed that so much that I made the comment to Gene, "You should have just kept singing." So, when this weekend we had the opportunity to be at Cornerstone Community Church in La Crosse, that's what he did.

It was a very nice weekend of visiting with friends and catching up and seeing all the new faces at Cornerstone. God is doing great things there. It's really good to see.Spencer and I actually missed service on Sunday. Spencer got sick in the middle of the night and we ended up hanging out at a friends home all day on Sunday. -Thanks Jenn for the visit and Frappacino! Thanks Becky for being so gracious about the puky smelling basement, AND thanks Chelsea and Paige for PaC Man! (They gave me their Gameboy Pac Man!)

it is good to know that somebody is still able to play pac man. so is this pac man you speak of a loaner? or, will it be a permanent replacement that will be guarded from the dangerous tops of lamps? either way, i know someone that can "take you to places you have never seen before". she is quite gifted.

these girls GAVE me their PacMan (can you believe it, they never played it!) - it's pacman world for gameboy - not quite the same but as a friend of mine would say "i'm in the bad place". i am going to search ebay for the playstation one game - i'm on a pursuit...higher scores, advanced levels...

It was a very moving service Gene. I thank you and I look forward to hearing your full CD.

Juli--I am sorry we missed you. I hope Spencer is feeling better.
