We already have a hermit crab, a fish and leopard gecko (a foster pet). These were meant to be pets that were low maintenance enough for the boys to care for. They also were somewhat compensation for the move away from all our friends and family. Well, one year later, guess who cares for these pets. So, several months ago - inspired by another church planter- I began thinking that maybe I should have a dog. I decided that if I was going to be caring for pets, I should have a pet that I would enjoy - a cute littel dog like a schnauzer, yorkie, westie.... Gene isn't with me on this, the boys go back and forth. Honestly, I know that dogs are an expense that I would rather not take on and well, they do limit our world travels! :-D This dog, is just right for us now I think. So, Danny is this what you meant when you said "every church planter should have a dog"?!

i think clyde would resent this post. he is very cuddly and will eventually fetch something if that something is a cricket. and he needs water like a dog. and if you were so prompted, you make him a little leash and take him for walks if you were careful not to step on him. ouch, juli...
