day 5. TGIF!

It's Friday and Juli has a day off of work at the Surgery Center. The day starts around 6 a.m. with email correspondence... breakfast... reading... and around 8a.m. Juli and the boys go for a walk. The course was set for a 2 miles. This was interupted by potty breaks, water breaks- but we get out for some excercise nonetheless. While we were out, Gene went to work on putting the final touches on the wedding message for this evening and making certain that his suit fits (and it does). When we return from our walk. Gene went grocery shopping with the boys and I went to work on a paper dealing with the topic of "John's conviction that Jesus was the Son of God." This paper will complete another course for the pursuit of a degree in Biblical Studies. Once the paper was written, it was sent via email to a couple of friends -who may or may not agree that what is presented is true - for feedback.

After swimming for a bit and getting some sun, we are off to the wedding of Carrie and Tom. We enjoyed dinner with them and their friends and family lastnight. We are looking forward to what this new friendship will bring with it to our lives. We pray for a beautiful night, opportunity to make new friends, that God be honored in all we say and do. We pray that Carrie and Tom will sense the presence of God and that their wedding would exceed thier expectations.

Our application for facility use at the elementary school on Sept. 24 is on the way. Please pray that we will find favor with the school district of Madison. For facilitating community, it would be nice to get to gather in a place that serves the community already. We also see this more as going where people already are...
